Ridgeway Getaway

J-8-I've said it before, but my thoughts turn to Colorado every spring and fall. I painted this scene from a back road near Ridgeway, Colorado. The early snow on the Rocky Mountains captured my attention, a striking contrast to the valley's autumn foliage. I remember feeling a "nip in the air" that day, a reminder that winter was on its way.
